Facebook lets you support Paris in your profile photo with one click
In response to the tragic attacks in Paris Friday night, Facebook has added a photo filter so users can easily show their support for France.

It's similar to the rainbow photo filter Facebook offered back in June in support of gay marriage.
If you look on your own Facebook page you might have trouble finding the new French flag filter tool. Instead, visit Facebook's page and find the post that says "We stand together. #JeSuisParis." Attached to that post, there's a "try it" button that allows you to quickly update your profile photo with the French flag option.
Over the past 24 hours, Facebook, with its more than 1 billion users worldwide, has served as clearinghouse for many users hoping to check on the safety and whereabouts of friends and family living in or visiting France.
In addition, some users have also reported that Snapchat is offering a filter that includes a Paris flag image and the message "Pray for Paris." But many users are unable to see the filter option as of this writing, so it may be available only in certain areas.
